Well Testing

Pump tests are conducted for two main purposes: 1) To test the hydraulic parameters of an aquifer. This may relate to a dewatering plan for future construction or aquifer parameters for a future tailings pond or dam site. 2) To test the performance characteristics of a water well. This will determine the yield of the well and provide information to properly size the pump.

Groundwater Control Systems offers a complete package for pump tests including:

Pump install and removal Pumps from 5 to 800 usgpm Variable frequency drives Digital read out flow meters from 0.75 to 2500 usgpm Gensets and light towers Surface tanks and discharge up to 10 km Insulating and heating of discharge Water level tapes and dataloggers 24 hour supervision and data collection
